ENROLLMENT NOW OPEN FOR A HANDS-ON FILM CAMP EXPERIENCE IN MUSKOGEE, OK THIS SUMMER.

Darkwood Film Arts Institute Summer Youth Film Camp sessions include lecture and hands-on activities and are supervised at all times by qualified Instructor-Filmmakers and are designed to engage all participants in each activity. Requirements: Ability to pay attention and follow directions. Release Forms: Photo and liability release forms are required for participation without exception. Refund policy for deposits and fees are outlined on enrollment and emergency forms. Fees include all materials, tee-shirts and snacks.  Lunch may be brought or bought from nearby establishments. (i.e. Little Ceasars, Subway, Taco Bell) FINALE SESSION: MOVIE, PSA, DOCUMENTARY AND MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERES Tues July 31 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: TBA Copies of DVD, Certificates of Completion,and Special Awards will be presented during this event. SESSION ONE JULY 16-20, 2012 9:00 AM-4:00 PM FEES:  $250 $225 IF PAID BY JULY 5th Tuition Assistance Applications due by JUNE 25 Write, Act, Direct, Shoot, Set Design, Make-up and Costuming a creative spoof of a Sci-Fi movie.  Create a movie poster with a local artist.  A hands on experience from beginning to end.

SESSION TWO JULY 23-27, 2012 9:00 AM-3:00 PM FEES:  $225 $195 IF PAID BY JULY 9th Tuition Assistance Applications due by JULY 2  Learn the Behind the Scenes production for a Music Video with a teen recording artist.  From concept to storyboarding to final shoot.  Hands-on experience. Native American Songwriter/Singer Billie Jean Teehee will Bethesda featured artist performing "Who's that Cherokee Girl?"
