DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY: Designed for (males &
females) pre-teen (10-12) and teens (13-17), the camp teaches the real secrets of professional motion picture production.
From screenwriting, film acting, directing, cinematography and movie terminology.
TIMES: 9 am to 5:00 pm
SESSION DATES:
Mon. June 28th-Fri. July 2nd for a total of 5 days. or
Mon. July 5th-Fri. July 9th for a total of 5 days
Camp will include:
Intro to the art and craft of moviemaking:
Writing, Acting, Cameras, Lighting, Set Designs, props, locations, etc.
Learn the terms, the process and the techniques making movies using local resources. Hands-on experiences
in front and behind the camera. Everyone get time performing each on set position.
Focus on Basic Acting for the camera, scriptwriting and camera angles, create an artistic film using local resources, special effects make-up and costuming.
Editing techniques, adding movie titles,
sound and music and poster creation.
TUITION FEE: $295 due by June 1st.
REFUND POLICY: Full refund given with a written
notice of cancellation up to 4 days prior to start of camp minus $25 administrative fee. Cancellations after that time
period will have an option as to receiving credit for another training session that equals what was paid for or to transfer
fee to a different youth or adult. Refunds are not given for NO SHOWS.
Add a Late fee of $25 if paid
after June 1st before June 15th
Extended late fee: $50 if paid after June 15th.
Ask about our sibling discount for two or more from same family.
All session fees include daily snacks, handout materials, copy of movie
set pictures, camp t-shirt and a copy of the finished movie on DVD.

permission slip for walking trips.
AGES: 10-17
INSTRUCTORS: Oscar Ray, Independent motion picture
writer, producer, actor, F/X make-up artist, production designer, prop-master, and director with over 25,000 hours of
experience as a cinematographer.
ShIronbutterfly, Independent film festival producer/director, instructor
of Film at local community college, with numerous years as a motivational consultant and speaker.
MEALS/SNACKS: Nutritious Lunch & Snacks will
be provided daily. Please alert us regarding alergies. Campers are welcome to bring non-perishable snacks.
Limited refrigeration is available. Microwave available.

This not for profit membership program has trained over 2500 individuals in motion picture production, professional
screenwriting, cinematography, film acting and motion picture directing. Received a special recognition award from the
40th Governor Arts Award in 2005. We are a full time production facility engaged in various stages of development, preproduction,
production and postproduction on independent movie projects. We also serve as consultants and
speakers.
